This year, for the first time, Vault One Gallery (formerly known as Artwise) will participate in MoBU (International Art Fair of Bucharest) 2024, which is the newest contemporary art platform in Central and Eastern Europe and the largest and most important event of its kind in Romania.
Vault One Gallery organization whose aim is to discover, gather, and showcase the works of emerging contemporary visual artists from Transylvania, will be present with an exhibition named “The Times They Are A-Changin”, inspired by Bob Dylan’s iconic song. This exhibition explores the profound and inevitable transformations that shape our world, Dylan’s lyrics are a poignant reflection upon social upheavals and the fluidity of existence.
Featuring works from various branches of the arts, each artist contributes a unique perspective and depicts a spectrum of human experience in the face of evolution. Some works highlight the darkness of war and destruction, while others celebrate innovation and progress. Humor is intertwined with solemnity and abstract visions contrast with tangible realities. In fact, this exhibition highlights the duality of change: both its potential for creation and its potential for annihilation.
The current exhibition invites you to reflect upon your own perceptions and reactions in the ever-changing landscape of our times, echoing Bob Dylan’s timeless message: change, with all its uncertainties, remains an essential and unstoppable force.
