István BÁBA
As an artist, I am driven by an inherent need to create, much like a tree’s natural drive to bear fruit. This process, while instinctive, involves significant effort and intensity. Each piece of art I produce is a culmination of dedication and resilience, influenced by my traditional training in Cluj-Napoca and the progressive experimentation I embraced during my Erasmus scholarship in Germany.
My work blends precision with timeless values, reflecting a synthesis of past influences and contemporary exploration. As the co-founder and artistic leader of Vault One Gallery in Cluj, I am committed to fostering the contemporary art scene, having curated numerous exhibitions that engage and challenge both artists and audiences.
Creating art is not just a passion; it is a fundamental, sometimes arduous journey that channels all my resources and energy into creating something new and meaningful.
