Accent heading
István HAVADI-NAGY-DAVID
Photography artist based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
I have always considered the immediate surrounding reality – the landscape, the city, the objects, and the people – a basis to be transformed into uncanny, and a means to convey emotions, personal ideas, and new meanings. In my photography uncanny is situated at the common inflexion point of Hypernormalisation and Metacrisis.
As I focus on several different aesthetic approaches, subjects, and themes in my art, I use a variety of photographic techniques ranging from digital to analogue photography, AI-generated images, and materializing them using a wide range of historic and alternative or plain digital printing.
